The judgement Pg. 130-222

One year later, Fak became more addicted to alcohol because it brought him pleasure. When he followed the 5 laws, he didn’t receive any good feat back. Fak could sleep easily without any obstacle when he drinks alcohol. It didn’t lead him to a peaceful life. Fak began to choose the wrong direction. He decided to spend most of his money on buying alcohol. The villagers criticized him more than before, and no one dare to tease him as they used to be, and no one talk with him except Uncle Khai. Uncle Khai also feel sorry for encouraging Fak to drink the rice wine. However, Fak can still carry out his job in the school, but he felt tired of works and thought that work is no longer important for him. On New Year Day, Fak didn’t wake up early and help the work in the temple because he couldn’t get up because of the alcohol. The abbot called for Fak and gave him a warning. Fak promised not to drink again because drinking isn’t a best solution, but it will ruin your life. Unfortunately, he broke his promise and continued consuming alcohol. Every time when he got drunk, he would remind himself about the promise that he will stop and shout loudly. One day, Fak was too lazy to wake up. The students came to his hut and insulted him outloud by calling Fak a drunkard. This made Fak angry and he threw stone at the forehead of one guy. This event brought into the school meeting, and the headmaster decided Fak to resign from a school janitor because of his behavior lately. He drunk, had a smell of alcohol, dirty, and he have no responsibility. This makes Fak so upset. However, he still carried on his drinking progress and even more drunk that his looks changed completely from skinny into a big pot belly. This really makes him look ugly. He got attack by the father of the kid on his way back to the hut from Uncle Khai’s house. He arrived with bloody face and he lost his teeth. So, Fak has broken the 3 laws for killing the innocent dog, lied to the abbot, and drink alcohol. None of the villagers feel sorry for  Fak. Both Fak and Somsong now live in a different world. Fak’s life was with alcohol because it’s only his true friend while M’am Somsong would collecting treasures from outside the hut. Fak finished his job as a janitor until the end of august. By the middle of September, people no longer talking about Fak, but instead, they talked about the new electricity coming from the town, but Fak didn’t care about what’s going on. He still kept on with his drinking and lived in a simple own way.
